PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing structure furnished with gas permeation resistance, temperature resistance up to a high temperature region, pressure resistance and especially solvent resistance against coolant of a carbon dioxide form. SOLUTION: A packing ring 10 is constituted of a metal waveform member made of at least two pieces of waveform crest parts 12 and a waveform transfer part 11 to connect their side surfaces facing against each other, the waveform crest part is perfectly filled with a non-compressive flexible solid material 13, and the waveform member comes to be in a closed state with wall parts 8, 9 of a packing case 5 respectively corresponding to each other and separated in the diametrical direction respectively by compression in the axial direction and deformation in the axial direction and the diametrical direction of the packing ring caused by it.
