PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light beam scanner which can accurately adjust a light beam on a scan object surface to be in a prescribed state. SOLUTION: Information related to the difference between a gap between laser beams LB1 and LB2 (the state of light beams) in the arrangement position of a one-dimensional CCD sensor 10 as a measuring means and that on the surface of a photoreceptor drum 9 as the scan object surface is preliminarily stored in a measurement value correction table. This table is used to correct the measurement result of the one-dimensional CCD sensor 10, and the gap between beams is adjusted on the basis of a correction value representing the true gap between laser beams on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 9. The gap between beams is adjusted by a beam position adjustment device 2 which can displace the image forming position of the laser beam LB1 on the surface of the photoreceptor drum. |
