The invention discloses a novel polypeptide, ribosomal protein 11, the polynucleotide encoding such polypeptide, and the method of producing the polypeptide by DNA recombinant techniques. Methods of using the polypeptide in treating diseases, such as malignant tumors, blood diseases, HIV infection and immune disorders, and inflammations and the like are also disclosed. Furthermore, the invention discloses the antagonist of the polypeptide and the treatment effects thereof. The use of the polynucleotide encoding the novel ribosomal protein 11 is also disclosed.
