The oil filler cap (10) for a car engine is attached to the edge of the oil inlet (15) by a flexible strap (12). This passes through a hole in the wall and has a tag (16) on the end to prevent it coming loose. The strap is attached to the cap by a clip (17) which allows the cap to revolve.
