A method of providing an electronically generated customer receipt for a money transfer transaction includes entering transaction details related to the money transfer transaction into a data base, wherein the transaction details are obtained from a universal form that applies to multiple types of money transfer transactions; and printing a transaction receipt based on the transaction details entered into the data base. The transaction receipt has multiple sections, wherein one section is the customer receipt, and wherein the sections are separable from each other.
