A DIVER ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM

A diver accountability system accounts for divers entering and exiting the water. The system consists of a master panel and a plurality of dive tags. The dive tags can be attached to a diver's tank or equipment and have an information surface on them. The master panel (50) has tag-holding means (51D - 60D), computing means and data entry means (54, 59). Data including tank size, tank pressure and dive depth for each diver is entered into the computing means. A display (55, 60) displays entered data and calculation of the computing means. The system automatically calculates bottom time and activates an audible warning system when divers are due to return. The system incorporates a visual dive planner and a visual emergency action planner.
