PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct fire preventive measure by ensuring the sufficient amount of ventilation and surely shutting out the outside air in the case of a fire without increasing a construction cost in a roof-surface ventilation unit installed on the roof surface of a building such a residence. SOLUTION: An opening frame 1 is fixed at the edge section of an opening C formed in a roof B, and a frame body 9, in which mutually flowed ventilation paths 3 are constituted by combining an inner frame 7a and an outer frame 8a and the inner frame 7b and the outer frame 8b, is fixed to the opening frame 1. Thermally-formed material mounting sections 3b are formed to ventilation paths 3, and thermally foamed materials 4 are installed to the mounting sections 3b. The upper section of the frame body 9 and the upper section of the opening C are covered by mounting a cover member 2 on the upper section of the frame body 9.
