PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid trolley device that has an electrically conductive member coated in an insulating cover and is thus protectable against a short circuit accident by a falling object and a flying object. SOLUTION: A rigid trolley wire 1, trolley wire clamp fittings 4a and 4b of a support insulator 4, and the top and outer faces of a guide rail 2 are electrically insulated, respectively, by a trolley wire cover 11, an insulator cover 12, and a rail cover 13. The trolley wire cover 11 of an elastic synthetic resin consists of a top and a bottom coating element 11a and 11b, and an outer coating element 11c, and is mounted in position when pressed inwardly against the trolley wire 1 from the outside. The insulator cover 12 of an elastic synthetic resin consists of an upper-lower pair of halves 12a and 12b, which have engaging portions 12e and 12f designed for fit engagement with the clamp fittings 4a and 4b. The rail cover 13 of an elastic synthetic resin consists of a top face cover 13a and an outer face cover 13b, which can fit over the guide rail 2.
