PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recognition system for a game machine capable of inspecting the game machine from the outside when a regular one-chip microcomputer is removed and fraudulently replaced with another one. SOLUTION: An inspection unit device 50 operated by an embedded battery to recognize the inherent identification information ID of a game control device and having a size held in palm is removably attached on part of the game control device, and a mount base 28 is disposed on part of the game control device 50. When the inspection unit device 50 is mounted on the mount base 28, the outer contact electrode 51 of the inspection unit device 50 is brought into contact with the mating contact electrode 52 of the mount base 28 so that the inherent identification information ID can be recognized.
