PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of eddy and turbulent flows of air in a cleaning apparatus for cleaning an object to be cleaned by air flow. SOLUTION: Outside air is filtered by a filter 29 provided at the upper part of a cleaning room 20, and introduced into the room 20. In the process where the filtered air is being introduced by a curved plate 25 into the cleaning room 20, the air flow is gradually diffused, so an occurrence of eddy and turbulent flow in the air can be reduced. In the case of cleaning of a person 70, particles, dust, ash, insects, etc., which have come off from the person 70 hardly get into the eyes, the nose, the mouth, the ears or the like of the person 70 by the eddy and turbulent flows of the air.
