摘要 <p>Double flange-joint seal for the floating tube of a heat exchanger seals the tube wall from the jacket space and on the other side from the tube interior. The seal consists of two rubber rings (13) designed to fit into the space between the tube surface (3) or wall shoulder (4) and ring grooves (11, 12). The grooves are produced in the assembled and screw-tightened (8) joint inside the flange by expanding recesses in the jacket flange (5) round the inside of the joint assisted by recesses in the exchanger lid (7) flange (6). The grooves are completed by a shoulder (10) tapering inwards on a flange spacer ring (9). The end face of this ring terminates on the inside surface of the flange joint in the area of the cylindrical top face of the floating exchanger tube (3) wall or its shoulder (4). The endface of the groove forming shoulder (10) divide the upper of the two sealed ring grooves (11) from the lower groove (12).</p>
