[Also in Division F2] An adjustable stroke reciprocating drive for a gear shaper comprises two eccentrics 11, 12 driven from a common motor 3 via spur gears 6, 7, 8 and having an adjustanle phase relation, the reciprocating output member 1 being connected to the eccentrics by a link 14, pivoted to one end of a lever 13 rocking about the eccentric 11, the other end of lever 13 being pivoted to a crank 15 of the eccentric 12. Phase adjustment of the eccentrics may be by changing the mesh of the gears 6, 7, 8, which may be provided with calibration marks to facilitate this.
