PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acetate fiber improved in soft feeling in addition to hand feeling inherent to usual acetate fibers. SOLUTION: This cellulose acetate fiber has 20 mm-30 mm flexural stiffness index. (The flexural stiffness index is expressed by a distance from the horizontal position of the other end when a fiber sample having 40 mm length is horizontally held by fixing its one end).
