摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the service time of a trap and to improve solid matter trapping efficiency of the trap by promoting the accumulation of solid matter in places other than those being in the vicinity of a gas inflow port of the trap. SOLUTION: This trap is provided with: a cylindrical vessel 22 having two openings at its both ends respectively, one of which is used as a gas inflow port 24 and the other of which is used as a gas outflow port 26; and inside the vessel 22, a gas flow passage which is connected to a discharged gas flow passage system and formed between the gas inflow port 24 and the gas outflow port 26 and also consists of a main flow passage that is formed so as to spirally extend, and auxiliary flow passages each of which is branched from a part of the main flow passage and connected to another part of the main flow passage, wherein the main flow passage is formed by thin sheets 30 which are attached to the surface of a cylindrical shaft 28 placed inside the vessel 22 and the auxiliary flow passages are formed by openings 32 of the thin sheets 30, each of which is opened in a prescribed position of the corresponding one of the thin sheets 30.
