PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner using engine-cooling water present inside a heater core as a cold storage agent and using the cold storage agent cooled in a cooling operation as an endothermic source when an engine stops. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, by closing hot water cocks 37, 38 provided in a hot water circuit 36, the engine-cooling water sealed inside the heater core 31 is cooled to store cold in the cooling operation. When the engine stops, a fan f is driven to allow the cold-stored engine-cooling water to cool air blowing into a cabin.
