PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator managing an open date and a residue of a food material stored therein and indicating food material plan information including a purchase candidate food material and a menu. SOLUTION: Whether the food material is a newly introduced food material, an externally removed food material from the refrigerator or a reintroduced food material is decided based on food material information read from a bar code sensor and information of a storage information database. In the case of the new material, the food material information is stored in the database. In the case of the removed material, a removing date and time are detected, and updated to information out of the refrigerator. In the case of the reintroduced material, the information in the refrigerator is updated. When the external time of the material removed externally is decided to be used, the information of the material is erased. Food material information approaching to its open date is extracted from the purchasing date and the open date of the material as a purchasing candidate food material. Then, menu information and deficient food material information capable of being cooked is extracted from the candidate material and the menu and the material information of the database. |
