PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally constitute a device for highly efficiently printing standard sizes without degrading image quality in printing of large sizes. SOLUTION: A scanner 3 has a mode setting section 73 which is constituted freely switching from a fine mode for finely capturing the information on the frame images of a film to a standard mode for coarsely capturing the information and vice versa and sets the scanner at a mode of a pixel number approximate to the print size in scanning.
