PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric rod antenna capable of being operated in a wideband without being influenced by group delay. SOLUTION: This antenna is provided with a waveguide 10, a dielectric rod 12 projecting from the point opening part 10a of the waveguide 10 and a feeding part 14 provided at the base part of the waveguide 10. Ridges 10b facing each other and projecting in the direction of an inner diameter are provided inside the waveguide 10, and the projection lengths of the ridges 10b are made small little by little toward the part 10a.
