<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink for golf balls which requires no priming when printing a mark, allows printing of beautiful marks which are not transparent nor blurred when directly printed on the surface of a cover or a ball comprising an ionomer, etc., and allows printing of marks showing an excellent impact resistance and resistance to scuffing which may stay without coming off even when clear coating films forming the outermost layer of the golf ball come off through repetitive hitting with golf clubs, banker shots, etc., and a golf ball having a mark printed using this ink. SOLUTION: The ink used for printing on the surface of golf balls contains a base resin, silicon dioxide and a colorant. The silicon dioxide content in the ink is preferably from 0.1 to 10 pts.mass. against 100 pts.mass. ink, i.e., from 0.1 to 10 mass.%.</p> |
