PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin laminated foamed sheet having a smooth surface and excellent stiffness which can reproduce a shape of a mold as it is without breakage and a cut-through hole of the foamed sheet when the sheet is thermoformed into a container of a deep molding shape and to provide a container having a beautiful surface and good printability and having an opening and the like of excellent stiffness. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin laminated foamed sheet 1 comprises a foamed layer 2 composed of a first foamed layer 3 of a polystyrene-based resin having an average cell diameter of 155 to 450μm and a second foamed layer 4 of a polystyrene-based resin having an average cell diameter of 35 to 150μm and a thermoplastic resin layer 5 laminated as an outermost layer on the second foamed layer 4 of the polystyrene-based resin, wherein the density of the foamed layer is 0.050 to 0.700 g/cm3 and a ratio (D3/D4) of the density D3 of the first foamed layer 3 of the polystyrene-based resin to the density D4 of the second foamed layer 4 of the polystyrene-based resin is 0.80 to 1.25.
