PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for moving a traveling body without coming into contact with the traveling body even if a conducting belt is loosened, and capable of always stably moving the traveling body by bending the conducting belt according to a traveling rail when the traveling rail is bent and deformed to reduce the causing of the looseness. SOLUTION: This device for moving the traveling body has a structure regulated so that the conducting belt B connected to the traveling body C freely movable along the traveling rail 10 at both terminal parts may be laid between a driven wheel 17 arranged at one terminal side of the traveling rail 10 and a following wheel 20 arranged at the other terminal side so as to pass the upper side and the lower side of the traveling rail 10.
