PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a normal ink discharge performance and prevent recording papers from being dirty and damaged and sensors from incorrectly detecting by wiping an adhering substance resulting from an ink mist, a paper dust, etc., adhering to the other point in addition to a foreign matter adhering to the vicinity of a discharge port. SOLUTION: Wiper blades 32 and 503 are set separately from a wiper blade 31 intended for removing the adhering substance to the vicinity of the discharge port, which are to remove adhering substances of a part of a recording head 11 and a carriage 13 which cannot be cleaned by the above wiper blade and moreover of the other part of the recording apparatus including sensors 501 and 502. |
