PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the propagation of bacteria in water to be treated and to enable efficient electrolysis in an electrolytic apparatus performing the control of electrolysis corresponding to the turbidity of water to be treated. SOLUTION: Since the production quantity of electrolytic water of an electrolytic means 22 is controlled on the basis of the detected turbidity of a turbidity detection means 25, electrolytic water can be supplied while the production quantity of electrolytic water is increased and decreased corresponding to the number of bacteria in water 17 to be treated and the propagation of bacteria in water to be treated can be suppressed without supplying excessive electrolytic water.
