PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method involving enabling the input/output units and processing control systems for a paper machine control system to be disposed through connecting with the base unit assembly groups of a paper machine. SOLUTION: This method involves a paper machine control system for paper machine/paperboard machine/tissue paper machine or equivalent(s) thereof which comprises a central processing unit CPU (e.g. unit for a control room, alarm and other function), at least one processing control system PCS and at least one input/output unit I/O which are connected via control cables L1 to Ln with a to-be-controlled unit or actuator, and a paper machine integrated control module which comprises an internal cabinet where the input/output units for the processing control system(s) PCS and/or the paper machine control system are installed and an equipment for monitoring circumstance conditions and another equipment for removing stress coming about according to such circumstance conditions are also disposed so as to enable the paper machine integrated control module to be disposed for the circumstance conditions existing with respect to the base unit assembly groups U1 to Un of the paper machine.
