PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a printer for preventing a user from pulling a paper before cutting the paper and quickly provide the user with the printed paper for use after the completion of printing. SOLUTION: When the printing for a paper r is completed, ejection rollers 15 and 16 are rotated on an ejection outlet 11 before the completion of the cutting by a cutter 13 to eject the paper r out of the ejection outlet 11 (D-E). When the rear end of the paper r is sensed by a paper sensor 17, the paper r is clamped by the ejection roller 16, and the paper ejected from the ejection outlet 11 is fixed to wait on a fixing site until the paper r is obtained by a user (F).
