PURPOSE: A sunvisor for a vehicle intercepts direct light by elevating/lowering a shield panel vertically, thereby improving the driving performance of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A sunvisor for a vehicle comprises a controller, a rotating body(31), a shield panel(40) and a sunvisor containing box(50). The controller drives a clockwise/counterclockwise motor(30) according to the quantity of irradiated sunlight, which is perceived by a light perceiving sensor(10). The rotating body(31) is rotated by the clockwise/counterclockwise motor(30). The shield panel(40) has a surface contacting to the rotating body(31) and moves vertically. The sunvisor containing box(50) contains the shield panel(40). Therefore, sunlight incident to a vehicle room is effectively intercepted, thereby improving the driving performance of the vehicle.
