An apparatus and a method for grinding a glass plate are provided to change grinding angle with respect to a glass plate diversely by moving two rotary shafts having wheels respectively to ends of the glass plate. An apparatus for grinding a glass plate(17) comprises a first grinding wheel(12a), a second grinding wheel(12b), a first rotary shaft(16a), a second rotary shaft(16b), and a moving unit(18). The first grinding wheel contacts with one edge of the glass plate. The second grinding wheel overlaps with the first grinding wheel and contacts with the other edge of the glass plate. The first rotary shaft is installed to the center of the first grinding wheel. The second rotary shaft is installed to the center of the second grinding wheel. The moving unit is combined to the first rotary shaft to move the first rotary shaft to the ends of the glass plate. The first wheel is a group of wheels. The moving unit moves the first rotary shaft toward the second rotary shaft. |
