PURPOSE: To provide a method for controlling the intensity of a user unit probe signal for improving the possibility of detection by a communication system unit on a method for improving the performance of a user accessing a communication system. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a probe signal that the user unit of a communication system transmits is constituted of a state receiving information from the system unit of a communication system and a stage controlling the probe signal based on reception information. The intensity of the probe signal is controlled based on information that the user unit receives from the system unit. Since the controlled probe signal is transmitted, possibility that the signal is detected by the system unit becomes high.
