PURPOSE: A system and method for dynamic configuration of a user profile based on the activity is provided to improve security of the system by controlling access to a function. CONSTITUTION: A system manager or a user determines a name of a desired profile(902). An action group including one or plural system actions is assigned to the profile. The system manager assigns the user of a group on the profile(906). The profile decides the level of functional performance to be downloaded with the application. The action group and the system action for offering functional performance to the application can be obtained. The system manger adds a tool bar button on the tool bar(908).
