PAPER MILL CORE STRUCTURE FOR WINDING AND SUPPORT OF PAPER MILL ROLL

PURPOSE: A paper mill core structure is provided to which is capable of reducing or substantially eliminating a center burst defect in a paper mill roll wide and heavy. CONSTITUTION: A paper mill core(100) has a winding/unwiding chuck structured to admit deformation of the core inside diameter and the inner wall body while a distortion is left on the outside of the core for preventing occurrence of center burst. The paper mill core has a layer zone(106) consisting of cardboard plies relatively soft despite its high strength within 70% outside of the body wall having at least 4-mm thickness. The inner zone constituting at least 25% approximately of the total thickness of the body wall is formed from a layer zone(102) having a super-high strength and super-high density. It is preferable that the total wall thickness of the core is at least 15mm approximately and the total is increased compared with a conventional high-strength, large width paper mill core formed from the layer zone(102) having super-high strength and super-high density and without softness.
