PURPOSE: To exclude useless wait time by reading the images of a plurality of electronic components in a state being retained by a suction nozzle using an image pickup means, performing recognition processing for each of the electronic components according to the mounting order of the electronic components, and mounting the electronic components to the substrate successive ly. CONSTITUTION: A transfer head 13 is moved to a supply part 16, and a plurality of suction nozzles of the transfer head 13 suck electronic components for pickup. More specifically, a suction nozzle 14 for picking up the electronic components is specified so that specific electronic components can be mounted according to a specific mounting order. Then, the transfer head 13 reads the images of electronic components being retained and sucked by each suction nozzle 14 using a line camera 15 when moving horizontally on the line camera 15, sends the read image data to a recognition processing part, performs recognition processing, and mount the electronic components to a substrate 12 successively. |
