PURPOSE: To provide a pointer instrument ensuring satisfactory luminance of a graticule, by employing a light source for applying light to only a light guide plate, in addition to a light source for applying light to both a light emitting pointer and the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: 5 light emitting elements 72 that are a first light source are spaced apart on a surface of a wiring board 70 as the light source for the illumination of both a graticule 20a and a light emitting pointer 20c so as to face a periphery of a cylinder 51 of a light guide plate 50 through an opening 61 of a holder 60. One light emitting element 73 that is a second light source is provided outside one of the light emitting elements 72 and on a surface of the wiring board 70 as the light source for the illumination of the graticule 20a so as to face a recessed portion 52 of the light guide plate 50 through the opening 61 of the holder 60. |
