The supply line (R) is received between 2 relatively spaced compression ring devices (P,P'), which each have a compressible element (3,7) between 2 opposing compression rings (2,4 ; 6,8). The compression ring devices are coupled together via tensioning rods (9) used for tightening the compression rings, at leat one ring (4,8) of each compression ring device having threaded bores for reception of the tensioning rods. The compression ring devices are fixed in position via stops (2,5) carried by a protective sleeve (1).
