PURPOSE: A method for providing a personal web page service on the internet is provided to form a personal characteristic, web page and content in a database, provide a certain rule for utilizing the database and generates a personal web page having a user's characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A service provider forms a personal characteristic, a web page component based on the personal characteristic and a contents which is provided on the web page in a database(S300). When a user is connected with a site of the service provider through the internet and requests a user's characteristic-based personal web page, the web server performs a verification procedure for verifying whether the connected user is a registered user(S400). A basic web page is formed based on the user's characteristic(S500-2). The formed web page and contents are transferred to the user through the internet(S500-3).
