The accuracy in calculating the total calorie consumption per day is improved by reflecting the exercise load and basal metabolic rate. The objective and result of exercise are concretely grasped. A calorie calculator is provided with a portable case (1) having a display section (D) and wearable on the user's body, electrodes (E1, E2) for measuring the impedance of the body, an exercise load measuring means (190) for measuring the exercise load by detecting three-dimensional movement of the body, a heart beat rate measuring means (210), personal data entering means (120), body fat percentage calculating means, basal metabolic rate calculating means (140), and total calorie consumption calculating means (170). At least the total calorie consumption per day and body fat percentage are displayed on the display section (D).
