<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight airbag gas generator preventing the short passage of combustion gas and achieving effective cooling and cleaning. SOLUTION: The gas generator includes a housing, an ignition means, a gas generating means and a filter means, with the outer periphery of the filter means opposed to the inner surface of the outer peripheral wall of the housing with a gap formed therebetween. The filter means includes a short passage preventing means for preventing the short passage of combustion gas between the end face of the filter means and the inner surface of the housing which abuts the end face.</p> |
