PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishhook which facilitates to make a catch, stabilizes the direction of the point of the fishhook and the posture of an artificial bait, well hooks a fish and is suitable for mass production, in a fishing method called a down shat ring (Fig. 2) which comprises directly binding the fishhook to a fishing line, attaching a sinker to the tip of the residual fishing line and floating the artificial bait at a constant distance from the bottom of the water. SOLUTION: This fishhook is characterized by disposing two portions for binding to fishing lines in the fishhook, thereby making it possible to bind the fishing line and a leader for attaching a sinker to the portions, respectively.
