PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wallpaper-coating composition capable of being conveniently applied to a wallpaper base, excellent in antifouling property and durability, and capable of imparting wallpaper having a photocatalytic function, e.g. having a self-cleaning action on tobacco nicotine or the like. SOLUTION: This wallpaper-coating composition is one of the following compositions: (I) a composition comprising (a) at least one kind selected from the group consisting of an organosilane represented by the formula (R1)nSi(OR2)4-n, a hydrolyzate of the organosilane and a condensation product of the organosilane, (b1) water and/or an organic solvent and (c) a photocatalyst; (II) a composition comprising the component (a), (b2) a polymer containing silyl group having silicon atom combined with a hydrolyzable group and/or hydroxyl group and (c) a photocatalyst; (I[) a composition comprising the component (a), (b3) a fluorine-based polymer containing silyl group and (c) a photocatalyst; or (IV) a composition comprising an aqueous dispersion where a specific polymer containing the components (a) and (b2) and (c) a photocatalyst are dispersed in an aqueous medium.
