<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly carry out connecting work of a bellows pipe 8 concerning a flexible tube fitting furnished with a fitting main body 1, a fastening cylinder 2 to be screwed in it and a metallic retainer 3 a front side of which is elastically free to extend and contract and is pushed into a retainer storage chamber 17 in the fitting main body 1 as it is engaged with the bellows pipe 8. SOLUTION: An elastic resin mode auxiliary cylinder 4 is externally installed on a retainer 3 so that a clearance S is made on a rear end part between both of them, a flange part 44 is provided on a rear end part outer surface of the auxiliary cylinder 4, an engagement projection 11 to take contact with an inner peripheral wall of a fitting main body 1 from the rear part is provided, the auxiliary cylinder 4 is prevented from movement in the axial direction by the retainer 3 and is engaged with it in the radial direction free to be separated, a pressurizing cylinder part 25 to release engagement of the auxiliary cylinder 4 and the retainer 3 by fitting in the clearance S in accordance with its forward movement and elastically deforming the auxiliary cylinder 4 is provided on a front end of a fastening cylinder 2, and a ring end surface 28 to push only the retainer 3 forward is provided in the rear of the inside of the pressurizing cylinder part 25.</p> |
