PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter, having sufficient near-infrared ray absorbing property and superior moisture resistance. SOLUTION: The optical filter is provided with a near-infrared absorption layer, containing a component consisting of a phosphate compound represented by the formula (10) and copper ion and having 0.4-1.3 mol phosphorus atom content with respect to 1 mol copper ions and 2-60 wt.% copper ion content.
