PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light adjustment apparatus that can extend an adjusting range of a backlight of display device in a stable state. SOLUTION: The light adjustment apparatus comprises a current detecting circuit 4 for detecting tube current flowing to cold cathode tube (7-10) and outputting data corresponding to the detected tube current, a control circuit 5 for comparing a determined data value corresponding to tube current value (to be called setting value) and a data value inputted from the current detecting circuit 4, and outputting predetermined signal if the data value inputted is adapted to a predetermined condition, and a switch 6 for selecting that a voltage corresponding to a predetermined brightness of the cold cathode tube (7-10) applied to the predetermined cold cathode tube (7, 9). |
