PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a handset to convert inputted KANA to KANJI while utilizing a base unit. SOLUTION: When a handset 1 converts KANA to KANJI, a KANJI converting means 13 of the handset 1 perform a radio connection between a radio communication control means 14 and a radio communication control means 24 of a base unit 2 and requests the conversion of KANA to KANJI to a handset KANJI converting means 23 of the base unit 2. The handset KANJI converting means 23 of the base unit 2 starts a KANA/KANJI converting means 21 and retrieves KANJI corresponding to KANA from a KANJI dictionary 22. The retrieved and extracted KANJI is transferred through the radio communication control means 24 to the handset 1 so that the KANA inputted by the handset 1 can be converted to KANJI. |
