PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of dust on a condenser mirror even if a storage phosphor sheet is electrified with a radiation image reading device which improves the light condensing efficiency of the stimulating light emitted from the sheet by condensing this light by a condenser mirror. SOLUTION: The condenser mirror 7 is mounted at a mirror mount 6 and is held in the device. If the mirror mount 6 consists of a metallic material at this time, a bracket for mounting the mirror mount 6 to the device is composed of an insulating material, such as a resin, to insulate the mirror mount 6 from the ground. The mirror mount 6 itself may be composed of the insulating material.
