Method for calculating a loss of charge created by a fluid in a circuit with a known thermal profile, in which a database of the rheologies of different fluids as a function of temperature is created, the thermal profile (2, 3) is divided into sections (4-7) and a representative temperature (T1-T4) is determined for each fluid in each section, the loss of charge is calculated taking into account rheology as a function of temperature and fluid. The invention also relates to a system for calculating loss of fluid charge in a circulating fluid circuit and application of the method to calculation of charge losses in an drilling well.
