LOCALLY TRANSFORMED YBCO DEVICE USING ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPE TIP OR SUPERCONDUCTING YBCO DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A locally-transformed yttrium-barium-copper-oxide(YBCO) device using an atomic force microscope(AFM) tip is provided to easily form a tunnel junction without a patterning process, by forming an insulating YBCO region or superconducting YBCO region. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor yttrium-barium-copper-oxide(YBCO) thin film(200) is stacked on a MgO substrate(100). An insulating YBCO region(400) to form a tunnel junction is fabricated on the semiconductor YBCO thin film. Electrodes(300a,300b) are respectively connected to both sides of the semiconductor YBCO thin film with respect to the insulating YBCO region.
