PURPOSE:To obtain the filter which has uniform permeability and has the rigidity sufficient to maintain a container shape by consisting the filter of a cup- shaped deep-drawn form made of a non-woven fabric formed of composite short fibers as a stock for form. CONSTITUTION:The web made of the composite short fibers 13 consisting of a core part 11 formed of a thermoplastic polypropylene(PP) resin or polyester resin and an outer peripheral part 12 formed of the thermoplastic polyolefin resin covering the core part 11 is subjected to a heat treatment to obtain the sheet-like material in which the composite short fibers 13 are integrally fixed by the thermal welding power of the thermoplastic PP resin constituting the outer peripheral part 12. The sheet-like material is subjected to needle punching to obtain the non-binder non-woven fabric. The non-binder non-woven fabric is subjected to the deep drawing by the press die consisting of a punch K having an inverted projecting shape and a die L having a recessed shape, then to trimming, by which the filter 1 for the coffee dripper consisting of the cup-shaped form having an approximately cylindrical cup shape is obtd. The filter 1 has a uniform thickness and high-grade feel. |
