PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material having a void type ink jet absorbing layer, excellent in ink absorbing property, glossy property as well as resistance to curling and provided with a high quality without any coating trouble, such as crazing, coating cissing or the like. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording material provided with a coloring material receiver layer on the substrate thereof is characterized in the coloring material receiver layer which contains fine particles, polyvinyl alcohol having the degree of polymerization of 4,000 or more, polyvinyl alcohol having the degree of polymerization of 3,500 or less and at least one kind of curing agent. |
