The device involves a composting plant for biological waste and incorporates a rotating cylinder (8) with perforations for dewatering compost material and a part arrangement for sieving compost material. A drum sieve (11-13), a movable transport plate (29) and a shaking sieve (27) are integrated in the composting plant for automation of the processing of waste and driving from a common unit. The drum sieve incorporates a cylindrical sieve network (11) with a surrounding collection part (12) for sieved waste. An exit slot (28) is located at the cylinder outer end for coarse particles. The shaking sieve is located above an after-composting chamber and is driven by the drum sieve drive shaft (44). The transport plate is arranged to receive large particles which fall down through the exit slot. The large particles are fed out into a sepn. container. |
