PURPOSE: A method for heating oxygen sensor for controlling air-fuel ratio feedback of a car is provided to prevent damage of the oxygen sensor due to thermal shock and to activate the oxygen sensor detecting an amount of oxygen of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A method for heating oxygen sensor for controlling air-fuel ratio feedback of a car includes the steps of turning off a heat if temperature of exhaust gas is over a first standard temperature(T1), reducing a heating amount of the heater if a difference between the temperature(Tg) of exhaust gas and a second standard temperature(T2) is under a prescribed value(N), and turning on the heater if the difference between the temperature of exhaust gas and the second standard temperature is under the prescribed value.
