METHOD FOR ESTIMATING PHOSPHOR-BALANCED CONDITION IN CONVERTER AND MOLTEN PIG IRON PRELIMINARY TREATING CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor-balanced condition estimating method excellent in accuracy by using variables such as the phosphor concentration (Rhm-P) and the final target P (R-P-aim) in a charged molten pig iron as explanatory variables. SOLUTION: In the case of refining the molten steel or the molten pig iron associated with the dephosphorizing reaction caused by the slag in a top-blown converter or a preliminary molten pig iron treatment vessel, the phosphor distribution ratio (Lp=Rslag-P/Rtd-P-act) at the completion of the blowing before or during the blowing is estimated with excellent accuracy by using at least one variable of the phosphor concentration (Rhm-P) in the charged molten pig iron and the final target P (R-P-aim) as the explanatory variables.
